Inspired by the Wood element in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this spring practice is about gentle growth, movement, and opening to new possibilities. Spring carries an upward, expansive energy. It’s a time to shift out of stillness, support emotional flow, and reconnect with a sense of direction and vision.


In this workshop with Alexandra, you’ll be guided through practices that help release stagnation in the body and create space for both physical and emotional movement. Together, we’ll explore ways to soften resistance, support the nervous system, and invite a sense of ease and expansion.


Workshop Focus:
• SMFR for hips, side body, IT band, and intercostals to support emotional mobility
• Yin postures for Liver & Gallbladder meridians
• Restorative shapes to soften stagnation and encourage openness
• Somatic practices for emotional expression, frustration release, and visioning
• Breathwork to support expansion and renewal


Outcomes:
You’ll leave feeling lighter and more open through the body, with a greater sense of ease in how you move and breathe. As tension and stagnation begin to soften, there is space for emotions to shift and flow more freely, helping you feel less stuck and more supported from within. You may notice a renewed sense of clarity and direction, along with a gentle confidence in your ability to make decisions and move forward. Overall, the practice offers a feeling of refreshment and possibility, helping you reconnect with your energy, your vision, and what’s beginning to grow.

Logistics:
Wear your usual yoga clothing and bring a mat, a journal and pen, and anything that helps you feel cosy during the cooler season. We’ll take care of the rest.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to give yourself time to settle in.

We keep the studio space quiet before the session, studio is a phone-free space. Please leave your phone on silent in reception. The space will be locked once the session begins.

Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the session will receive a full refund. As spaces are limited, we’re unable to offer refunds or credits after this time.
If your plans change, we appreciate you cancelling early so someone else can take your place.
